Improve fine motor skills with this unique painting technique to create an Easter egg.

Supplies

  • 1 Construction paper (Any color)
  • 1 Clothespin
  • 1 Pom-pom (Any color)
  • Pencils
  • Scissors
  • 2 Washable paints (Any colors)

Steps

  1. Draw a simple egg shape on construction paper.
  2. Have child pinch clothespin to pick-up pom-pom. Once the pom-pom is inside the clothespin, this will serve as the paintbrush.
  3. Dip pom-pom paintbrush in paint color. Dab pom-pom onto egg shape. Continue until egg is painted.
  4. Set aside to dry for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Cut egg out and display.
